Macys Cyber Monday Deals

Macy's Online tends to be a little ahead of things with their sales. They started their Black Friday right on Thanksgiving with their Thanksgiving Day Sale and carried it through the whole weekend. Now, they're already running their Cyber Monday deals today, November 29, through Cyber Monday 2009 on November 30. Correction there: The Macys Cyber Monday sale IS just Monday, November 30, but Sunday November 29 is a "preview" day. So what does Preview Day mean in Macys' lingo? We went ahead with an online order today for one of the Monday Morning Doorbusters and applied promo code CYBER to get free shipping. Guess what? We got the doorbuster pricing and the free shipping applied. Thus, "Preview Day" is just another way of saying the first and unpublicized day of the sale.

What sort of Cyber Monday Deals are Macys offering in 2009?

The first notable offer at Macys Cyber Monday Sale 2009 is their free shipping offer on orders totaling $75 or more when you enter Macys promo code CYBER during checkout. You can also get an additional 25% off any clearance merchandise (excluding mattresses and furniture). Macy's online are running a huge selection of featured items for this sale: you can have a look at Centsible's Cyber Monday Deals page to see the full selection.

Macys Cyber Monday Clothing Specials

There are lots of clothing specials, for women, men and children. In addition to the doorbuster items there's a Buy One, Get One Free offer on women's sweaters, and children's sweaters and outerwear. You can also take 40% off bathrobes.

Macys Cyber Monday Jewelry Offers

Jewelry items figure highly in this Macys.com Cyber Monday Sale. Macys also has their Bonus Dollars program currently running in the jewelry department: purchases between $99 and $200 get $10 off, jewelry purchases between $210 and $400 get $25 off, orders totaling between $401 and $600 get $50 off, jewelry orders between $601 and $800 have $75 taken off, jewelry orders between $801 and $1000 get $100 taken off, and finally, jewelry orders at Macys' online that total over $1000 currently have 10% discounted from the price.

Macys Cyber Monday Housewares Specials

You can also find a good selection of small kitchen appliances and items for the home during the Macys 2009 Cyber Monday Sale. Many luxury sheet sets from names like Michael KORS and Calvin Klein are selling at up to 60% off.

Go ahead and start Cyber Monday Shopping early at Macys.

Macys Online Weekend Sale Is Not All That Big Of A Deal

Usually we're singing Macys praises for their online sales: some great deals are to be had. Today though, we're pointing out the shortcomings of the Macys Weekend Sale Online. As usual, us at Centsible have taken the time to read the fine print. Here's what we found.

Weekend Sale with 20% or 15% off at macys.com Enter promo code: WEEKEND at checkout. Valid September 16 through September 20, 2009.

It looks like you can apply an additional 20% discount to both regular and sale-priced clothing, shoes and accessories or an additional 15% discount to items for the home and jewelry when you enter Macys promo code WEEKEND during your online checkout process. What they don't tell you about right away though are the exclusions..

Maybe Macys.com would have an easier time telling us what we CAN use this coupon for!

In addition to our Macy's Online Shopping Summary, we've also outlined current hot deals at Macys Online at one of our sister pages on Squidoo. Check it out, but be sure to Centsible's Macys Page to make your purchase: The product links on the Squidoo page go to Macys' storefront on Amazon.com and you won't be able to redeem Macys Online promos through their Amazon.com storefront. So, what would be the point of checking out the Macy's page on Squidoo? So you can quickly get a peek of hot items at Macys and have access to EVEN MORE resources for Macys savings and promo codes!

Having criticized Macys Weekend Sale Online, we DO think their jewelry SuperBuys this week are pretty darn good. And you DON'T need any coupon codes to activate those prices..

Macy's is at it again this weekend with an unbelievable sale. In the intimates department they are giving out free panties with luxury lingerie purchases and discounting intimates in general, as well as having another sale on shapewear. In the housewares department, there is a free shipping offer. What caught our eyes the most though was the free gift basket with infant purchases of $50 or more.

The Deal: Spend $50 or more on infant clothing and accessories. Qualifying items will be clearly marked in red as having a "Bonus Offer". Your purchase of qualifying items must total $50 or more before discounts or sales taxes are applied, and gift wrapping does not qualify towards your $50 subtotal.
