Today's 'Deal of the Day is a little different. Its a free event that looks to be great fun for the kids. (Editor's note: I'm taking my kids to the Chicago event this weekend!).
November 2009 sees the release of a new Disney film starring Jim Carrey: Disney's A Christmas Carol. Currently, in conjuction with Amtrak and HP Hewlett Packard, Disney is conducting a train tour of the United States in promotion of this film.
The roadshow has free admission and features the following activities and attractions:
- Exhibit train cars giving an interactive 'the making of' experience
- 3d theatre tent with sneak peeks from the film
- Charles Dickens Museum artifacts
- Face-morphing: you to a movie character
- Concept art, costumes, maquettes and props from the film
