APO / FPO shipping Policies

We've had a few requests for information on shipping to APO/FPO addresses, particularly regarding free shipping. We're doing our best to compile a good listing for you and would LOVE to put together a separate page focusing on APO/FPO friendly companies. While we're compiling this though, we'd like to feature a few companies we know of that ARE offering free shipping to APO/FPO addresses.

Hickory Farms

Hickory Farms always offers free shipping to APO/FPO addresses. In fact, Hickory Farms offers a special 'Military Gifts' section of pre-selected items that will be permissable for APO/FPO deliveries, taking all of the guesswork out for you!

The Swiss Colony

While The Swiss Colony does still charge regular shipping charges for orders shipping to APO/FPO addresses, they've waived the $5 surcharge normally applied to these orders. Shipping charges at The Swiss Colony are based upon the total dollar value of the merchandise ordered, as well as the order's destination and speed of delivery requested, with rates ranging from $3.95 for continental US orders of $15 and under shipping via standard delivery up to 11% of the merchandise total of the order for those totaling $385 or more. All orders shipped outside of the continental United States are shipped by air: there is no expedited shipping available for APO/FPO addresses as it is all air shipping.

Timberland

Timberland always offers free shipping for APO/FPO orders. Timberland advises online shoppers to order by December 21 to ensure timely holiday delivery for orders with standard shipping, but we assume they are referring to orders shipping to the 48 contiguous United States. In fact, Timberland states that you should allow extra time for APO/FPO deliveries as they are all performed by the USPS. Finally, Timberland does not claim responsibility for your package once it reaches the APO/FPO processing center.

Hopefully this information gives you a few ideas of shipping options for those at APO/FPO addresses this Christmas. So, what sort of personalized items can you get from DisneyShopping that qualify for this offer? Messenger bags, baseball caps, jackets, hoodies, backpacks, bath towels, sweatshirts, night gowns, vests, robes, polo shirts, slippers, golf bags, bean bags, fleece throw blankets, kids arm chairs, floor mats, nap mats, holiday décor, aprons and pillows. How much does personalization normally cost? We tried it out and found it to generally be either $5.95 or $7.95, depending on the item (hoodies were a little more expensive to personalize than pillows,jackets or nightgowns..)

Disneyshopping has another promotion going on through December 17 at 11:59pm PT, free shipping on orders totaling $89 or more. Your order total must reach $89 AFTER the discount on personalization is applied (these savings can add up to a lot). You also MUST NOT forget to hit the "Apply Promo Code" button after entering each promo code. You should double check your order's itemization before placing your order just to be sure all of your savings have been applied.
