As Cyber Monday 2009 is winding down, we thought we'd quickly recap some of the major deals we've come across today in the jewelry department. You've still got a few hours to take advantage of them.

Free Shipping

For Cyber Monday 2009, many online jewelry stores are throwing in free shipping promotions. Blue Nile, as we recently blogged about, was offering free FedEx overnight shipping for every order placed today before 6:00pm ET. Blue Nile offers free shipping every day for most orders. USA orders usually only receive FedEx 2-day shipping free of charge, with the option of upgrading to overnight delivery for an additional cost. Zales is also offering free shipping today and their offer is still going on. Normally this online jeweler offers free FedEx shipping for offers totaling $149 or more. Today only, Cyber Monday 2009, that purchase threshold has been lowered to $49. Ross Simons has a standard free / reduced shipping offer at their website. When your purchase totals $250 or more your shipping is free. Orders totaling under $250 ship for only $7.95 via standard shipping. Online jewelers Netaya and ICE.com are other ones that always offer free shipping to orders within the United States. While not offering free shipping as a standard, online jeweler diamond.com is offering free shipping for orders shipping with the 48 contiguous United States. The diamond.com free shipping promotion is good for all orders between November 12 and December 22. So, free shipping appears to be the de facto standard for online jewelers on most days of the year, but certainly on Cyber Monday.

Cyber Monday Featured Discounts

Only a few online jewelers are offering across the board discounts for Cyber Monday. Zales is giving an extra 10% discount sitewide. When you enter promo code HOLIDAY at Ross Simons (through December 2), you'll get an across-the-board discount of 30% on orders over $250 or 15% for orders totaling under $250. Netaya has a Cyber Monday promotion featuring a 20% discount on all orders when you enter the promo code HOLIDAY2009 during checkout.

Both ICE.com and Diamond.com are offering deep discounts on select jewelry pieces for their Cyber Monday promotions. ICE.com has promoted discounts up to 75% at their site. ATT Wireless Kicks Off The Holiday Shopping Weekend With A Few Offers

ATT Wireless has been running special holiday promotions since Black Friday 2009 at the end of last week. All of these offers involve and require at least the activation of a new 2-year service agreement with Wireless by AT&T.

Saturday, November 28, kicked things off with Wireless by AT&T reducing the prices on both a free Pearl 8110 or Curve 8310: the Curve 8320 was $49 or the Curve 8900 was $99 when you signed a 2-year agreement with a minimum plan of $69.99 monthly.

Macy's Online tends to be a little ahead of things with their sales. They started their Black Friday right on Thanksgiving with their Thanksgiving Day Sale and carried it through the whole weekend. Now, they're already running their Cyber Monday deals today, November 29, through Cyber Monday 2009 on November 30. Correction there: The Macys Cyber Monday sale IS just Monday, November 30, but Sunday November 29 is a "preview" day. So what does Preview Day mean in Macys' lingo? We went ahead with an online order today for one of the Monday Morning Doorbusters and applied promo code CYBER to get free shipping. Guess what? We got the doorbuster pricing and the free shipping applied. Thus, "Preview Day" is just another way of saying the first and unpublicized day of the sale.

The first notable offer at Macys Cyber Monday Sale 2009 is their free shipping offer on orders totaling $75 or more when you enter Macys promo code CYBER during checkout.
