Jewelry Offers on Cyber Monday

As Cyber Monday 2009 is winding down, we thought we'd quickly recap some of the major deals we've come across today in the jewelry department. You've still got a few hours to take advantage of them.

Free Shipping

For Cyber Monday 2009, many online jewelry stores are throwing in free shipping promotions. Blue Nile, as we recently blogged about, was offering free FedEx overnight shipping for every order placed today before 6:00pm ET. Blue Nile offers free shipping every day for most orders. USA orders usually only receive FedEx 2-day shipping free of charge, with the option of upgrading to overnight delivery for an additional cost. Zales is also offering free shipping today and their offer is still going on. Normally this online jeweler offers free FedEx shipping for offers totaling $149 or more. Today only, Cyber Monday 2009, that purchase threshold has been lowered to $49. Ross Simons has a standard free / reduced shipping offer at their website. When your purchase totals $250 or more your shipping is free. Orders totaling under $250 ship for only $7.95 via standard shipping. Online jewelers Netaya and ICE.com are other ones that always offer free shipping to orders within the United States. While not offering free shipping as a standard, online jeweler diamond.com is offering free shipping for orders shipping with the 48 contiguous United States. The diamond.com free shipping promotion is good for all orders between November 12 and December 22. So, free shipping appears to be the de facto standard for online jewelers on most days of the year, but certainly on Cyber Monday.

Cyber Monday Featured Discounts

Only a few online jewelers are offering across the board discounts for Cyber Monday. Zales is giving an extra 10% discount sitewide. When you enter promo code HOLIDAY at Ross Simons (through December 2), you'll get an across-the-board discount of 30% on orders over $250 or 15% for orders totaling under $250. Netaya has a Cyber Monday promotion featuring a 20% discount on all orders when you enter the promo code HOLIDAY2009 during checkout.

Both ICE.com and Diamond.com are offering deep discounts on select jewelry pieces for their Cyber Monday promotions. ICE.com has promoted discounts up to 75% at their site. Blue Nile will be featuring a different jewelry piece every day throughout the holidays. Diamond.com has the following features:

Macys Online Weekend Sale Is Not All That Big Of A Deal

Usually we're singing Macys praises for their online sales: some great deals are to be had. Today though, we're pointing out the shortcomings of the Macys Weekend Sale Online. As usual, us at Centsible have taken the time to read the fine print. Here's what we found.



Weekend Sale with 20% or 15% off at macys.com Enter promo code: WEEKEND at checkout. Valid September 16 through September 20, 2009.

It looks like you can apply an additional 20% discount to both regular and sale-priced clothing, shoes and accessories or an additional 15% discount to items for the home and jewelry when you enter Macys promo code WEEKEND during your online checkout process. What they don't tell you about right away though are the exclusions..

Maybe Macys.com would have an easier time telling us what we CAN use this coupon for!
