Sur La Table offers sales tax savings for anyone who will be delivering their package to Oregon. All orders shipping to addresses outside of Oregon will have standard sales tax applied to them. Basically, if Sur La Table operates retail stores in a state, they have to charge sales tax: all states aside from Oregon can boast at least one Sur La Table retail location.

How much savings does this mean and what are the shipping charges?

Shipping charges at Sur La Table start at just $5.99, going up to 11% of the merchandise total of your order if your merchandise totals more than $150. Just like at Kegworks, John Boos work centers for the kitchen are featured, often with free shipping.

Is this a good deal for you?

If you're living in Oregon state or sending gifts there this could definitely be a good deal for you. The best way we could find to figure your savings on gifts or orders sent to Oregon was to research this ourselves. I did a phoney order on an OXO utensil caddy and a 12 to 14 pound certified organic turkey. Sending this order to Illinois, I'm charged $12.03 for tax on this order in Illinois.
