APO / FPO shipping Policies

We've had a few requests for information on shipping to APO/FPO addresses, particularly regarding free shipping. We're doing our best to compile a good listing for you and would LOVE to put together a separate page focusing on APO/FPO friendly companies. While we're compiling this though, we'd like to feature a few companies we know of that ARE offering free shipping to APO/FPO addresses.

Hickory Farms

Hickory Farms always offers free shipping to APO/FPO addresses. In fact, Hickory Farms offers a special 'Military Gifts' section of pre-selected items that will be permissable for APO/FPO deliveries, taking all of the guesswork out for you!

The Swiss Colony

While The Swiss Colony does still charge regular shipping charges for orders shipping to APO/FPO addresses, they've waived the $5 surcharge normally applied to these orders. Shipping charges at The Swiss Colony are based upon the total dollar value of the merchandise ordered, as well as the order's destination and speed of delivery requested, with rates ranging from $3.95 for continental US orders of $15 and under shipping via standard delivery up to 11% of the merchandise total of the order for those totaling $385 or more. All orders shipped outside of the continental United States are shipped by air: there is no expedited shipping available for APO/FPO addresses as it is all air shipping.

Timberland

Timberland always offers free shipping for APO/FPO orders. Timberland advises online shoppers to order by December 21 to ensure timely holiday delivery for orders with standard shipping, but we assume they are referring to orders shipping to the 48 contiguous United States. In fact, Timberland states that you should allow extra time for APO/FPO deliveries as they are all performed by the USPS. Finally, Timberland does not claim responsibility for your package once it reaches the APO/FPO processing center.
