Linens And Things Going Out Of Business

We must admit that we haven't paid as much attention to Linen's N Things as we would've liked to lately. Thus, it was with much surprise to get an email regarding their liquidation proceedings today! A quick Google search confirms that in April of this year, Linens & Things was contemplating a Chapter 11 Bankruptcy and in touch with restructuring firms. Apparently things began on May 2, 2008 with store closures and people losing jobs. A new buyer for the chain has not been found, and only 10 hours ago (according to bloomberg.com), LNT announced the closure of its Canadian division. Clicking through to their website, there is no secret.

Linens N Things is going out of business.



With any bad news come good news usually. The good news in this situation is that you can get BIG savings from Linens N Things during this liquidation. Many quality names are carried at Linens And Things: Wamsutta, KitchenAid, CuisinArt, Calphalon, Paula Deen Signature, etc..

Hurry up though, these prices wont be around for long obviously!
